Well, according to Wikipedia those scores are well above average :)
For this GMAT, I was only in the 79th percentile in the Quant section but in the 95th for Verbal. Overall, the 720 is in the 95th percentile too, so I guess Verbal carries a hell of a lot more weight or something? I dunno, these scores are still "unofficial" so hopefully they don't bump me down when its all figured out.

Ha ha. The cusp is a mini-peak within a graphed equation. I was trying to put simply that I'm not interested in average as much as I'm interested in zenith.

GMAT is harsher than the old SATs now in days. :/ I plan to do well on my GMAT test.

Good luck to you sir. Though it's not super helpful, I liked reading the articles on GMAThacks.com, the guy has some decent tips and makes the whole thing seem less daunting, if you're the type to get freaked out by tests.
Also, the GMATPrep software is excellent.
