Hey, I just noticed their tails being transparent. What's up with that?

Those are some cool looking fish. I've been trying to decide on some suitable ones for my son (2 yrs old). I think I have a winner now.

While living in Brooklyn I raised Black Pirahna's. I used to buy them in bunches of ten because they tend to die easily when they're young also cannibalism.
Let me tellya those little buggers are ferocious. If they would see a fly hovering above the tank or detect any kind of motion above water, the bravest of them would leap out of the water and sometimes land outside of the tank. It's scary trying to pick them up while they flapping around and gnashing their teeth knowing that a bite could be imminent.

Since I moved to Miami I haven't been able to find anyone that sells them.
Their illegal here because of all the brackish canals and whatnot.
Any clue where I could find them online.

Also, I'd hit that.

They're cheap too. Or at least where I got 'em at. $12 CAD for 2.

Hmmm I doubt Lauren's roommates would want to deal with fish bite and are capable of aquarium escape. I would love to feed them though. My roomate had a Black Rat snake in my last place, and he would forget to feed it for weeks at a time. At first we fed it baby mice, but we moved up to toddler mice with a full coat of hair and stuff after a while... the snake was kinda small (3-4 feet long, but thin) and to see it fight a mini-mouse... Christ we'd prepare snacks and invite friends over for the event.

As for finding the piranhas online, I haven't a clue. Best to ask some official fish forum or Yahoo! Answers or something.

It's so cool at feeding time Zerok. When you're dealing with pirahna.

It's more interesting IMHO when they are still small and in packs of 10-15.
I'd drop a large goldfish in there and they actually take turns most of the time.
The biggest always goes first then down the line to the smallest.

They just run up the side or bottom of the fish and like a razor removing a sliver of flesh. Really gruesome to tellya the truth.

That fish has escaped.

Used super secret neon rays to burst through the wall and then escaped into the ocean.

We used to have "tropical fish" like those, they eat each other.
Get pregnant constantly.

It is all a bit disturbing, I do not miss our fishtank.

Yeah, I once had beta fish.

yeah, well youre a girl

How big are your tetras? Because I used to have two small Goldfish one inch large each. They both dissapeared a while later. Do you have larger fish in your tank? Because I have big fish in my tank. Damn Guppies.
