I'm actually not a review mod, and I dunno what post-redesign instructions have been given to them, if any. Back when M-Bot was stomping his way through the reviews, I'm sure that would have been vaped, just based on the fact that more complex and thoughtful reviews had been deleted in the past. Again I'm not sure of the nitty-gritty. You should talk to kidray76 about it.
If someone said they'd spam the BBS, I'd either keep 'em under surveillance until I got bored, or just ban them outright. Depends on the situation, and the user.

Nothing actually angers me. If rule-breaking angered me then I'd be mad all the time. Annoyance, however... well, the greater the volume of spam, the greater the amount of buttons you have to click to be rid of it, so I guess that's the most annoying.
okay... im doing this for "erect-vagina" also i really want to wtf is up. before the redesign tommy had an uncensored animated sig of 2 hairy guys fucking each other, it stayed on newgrounds. yet i see static sigs like erect-vaginas getting removed it was a censored sig of that drag queen looking cartoon in lingerie, look in erect-vaginas profile and you will see what i mean.
After the redesign came the risque sigs rule, you can search for it. Controversy city. I've never been much of a sig-mod, so I tend to shy away from the arguement. I typically only remove sigs if they're blatantly offensive or brag about bans.

As a bisexual member of the NG community, I don't fell very protected.
It's often a contextual thing. "Faggot" aimed at no one in particular is less... striking... I guess, than directed at someone with malice.
"John, you're a fucking faggot." versus "You're all a bunch of faggots." sorta thing. I tend to ban people for using it viciously, or when they haven't been provoked.

I seem to notice that you lock threads but don't ban the topic starter or the people who reply, like every other mod is pretty consistent on. I wanted to know why yer so cool about stuff like that and if you get shit from the other forum mods for being so cool to us commoners.

I wasn't aware that other mods ban the OP and the posters after locking a thread... and I haven't gotten any flak from anyone about not doing so. Maybe your perception of bans on OPs with locked threads is a bit inaccurate? I often pop in to locked threads (that I didn't lock) just to see what the kerfuffle was all about, and the OP is often not banned. In fact, almost all of the bans I see are post-related, not topic-creation related (unless a topic was Destroyed).
As for my personal reasons for not banning OPs and posters within topics I lock, usually I lock the threads for some minor reason (e.g. video thread, list topic, this or that topic, horrible presentation) and explain that in the lock message. Those sort of offenses don't warrant a ban.
As for Mr. Freud, I believe you have to heavily filter a lot of what he came up with. Certainly many of his proposed models for human behaviour are grounded in some credible stuff, but an equal proportion is also a little more zany or has been proven to be completely wrong. My girlfriend likes to say that "Freud has some GREAT basic ideas, but then he elaborates and just goes completely out of control," or something along those lines. I tend to agree. He laid some very important groundwork in psychology, but you'd be foolish to base a serious scientific inquiry solely off his stuff.
